Methods

Tyler’s research experience includes qualitative and community-based approaches, including participatory action research, youth-engaged research, thematic analysis, arts-based methods, photo-elicitation, focus groups, interviews, and collaborative knowledge translation.

Current Direction

Tyler is continuing to build research experience at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, youth mental health, and community-based public health. His current academic focus encompasses psychology, neuroscience, qualitative research, mixed methods, mental health promotion, and the translation of research into practical support for youth, families, communities, and service systems.
